Explore the beautiful wines of New Zealand’s diverse microclimates!
A country shaped by volcanic plateaus on the north island and striking mountains of the south, benefiting on all sides from coastal plains guiding complex airflow systems and shifting weather patterns.
Divided into seven regions, three on the north island and four on the south island, its complex topography allows for a wide selection of varietals to be grown.
This includes rich, bold reds like Cabernet Sauvignons benefiting from the long growing degree days of Hawke’s Bay, Delicate Pinot Noir’s early to ripen and vibrant in colour in Central Otago, and the ever popular Sauvignon Blanc, boasting bright green notes indicative to the Marlborough region.
Join us for a wonderful evening, exploring five amazing wines from this diverse, beautiful country!
As always, Chef Craig will be creating perfect small dishes to compliment each wine.
We hope you can join us on Wednesday, April 22nd or Thursday, April 23rd, from 6-8pm in the Gather Taproom for this tasting!
* Both evenings will feature the same wines, so pick the date that works best.
