This time, we'll explore the key differences in popular beer styles, their history, and how they are made. We'll focus on the tradition of crisp European Lagers, the tried-and-true techniques behind British Ales, and the punchy innovation of the North American Pale and IPA scene.
Where did these styles originate? Why are these beers so popular? What are the key ingredients that lead to their unique success?
As a student, you'll receive two 5-oz samples from each variety showcased, for a total of six tastings. Every beer showcased was brewed right here at Gather, and Brewer Doch will explain and explore each one. We'll also serve small plate food pairings, intentionally crafted by our amazing Chef Jeff to complement each beer!
